What is Cash Flow?
Cash flow is the net amount of money flowing in and out of your rental property each month. It's calculated by subtracting all monthly expenses from your total monthly income.
Positive cash flow means you're making money each month, while negative cash flow means you're losing money and need to cover the difference from other sources.
Target Cash Flow
Most investors target at least $200-300 per property per month in positive cash flow to ensure the property is truly profitable after accounting for unexpected expenses.
